Newer (4 years) Fairfield property represents everything the brand has to offer. Half-decent breakfast, clean rooms, and modern amenities. Plus, it's the only Marriott property for miles, and it's eight up the street from a Starbucks. Will definitely stay here again.

I am one of the regulars at the hotel. I like the hotel so far until a very bad experience this past week so I absolutely need to post this feedback. I had found a giant fly in a bathroom along with strong food spice odor(very bad)!!!. Asked two front desk staffs to look into these issues. I were told to be contacted to follow up. Never heard anything back. Then the last night of my stay, I found an ant in the bath room! This would have meant they never did anything to address the hotel room hygiene and cleanliness.

I saw the same front desk lady who had said she would give me an update but never did when I checked out today. While I am still upset, she looked at me as if nothing happen. Unbelievable. Very disappointing!!!

Nice modern furnishings, complementary Paul Mitchell products, best shower I've ever used, comfy beds, and good gym, quiet ac/heater. The best surprise: vegetarian sausages for breakfast and soy milk for coffee/ cereal!!! Best chain hotel by far I've ever stayed in and honestly better than my 4 and 5 star experiences.

- I rarely post negative reviews. I look to have issues resolved one on one before I go this route but the Fairfield Inn in Washington Court House is forcing my hand.

- Did you look at the pictures? That is yellow film built up in the bathtub that my 3 young children and wife took a bath in. (It got progressively worse as it was used). Absolutely disgusting.

Beautiful hotel. Not the usual for our area. Great design fit and function. Definitely blown away. Will update after breakfast.

- I called the Fairfield Inn in Washington Court House to get the matter resolved. Spoke to a very nice woman at the front desk, she said she would reach out to the manager.

- The pool was closed. This was one of the main reasons we decided to stay here

I am a Marriott Silver Elite member and have stayed at many Marriott hotels. This has been by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had, and Marriott is supposed to be a higher end hotel. Stayed here in early October '17.

- I call back 3 days later because I did not hear anything, spoke with the same woman. She said she didn't get back to me because she was off work, understandable. Goes on to inform me that the manager said they only offered the 2,000 bonus points and not a refund of the stay. TRUST ME, I was offered a refund. Otherwise I would have posted these pictures months ago.

Here are my list of issues:

- Fast forward to this week when I go to book another hotel room at a different Marriot location... I did receive the 2,000 bonus points, yet no refund of the stay.

- I brought this to the attention of the front desk. They immediately apologized and offered to 1st - refund the points I used for the stay and 2nd - give me an additional 2,000 points. I was happy with this and decided to put the issue at rest and not post a negative review.

- So the manager decided to make his employee do the grunt work, make a customer wait for a response instead of calling me himself. Now the poor front desk woman is the middleman.

- These pictures will also be send to the Health Department.

I will be happy to remove this post if the management honors their original offer.
